Logos Hotel Yad Hashmona – Hospitality Design Inspired by Nature
Located in the Jerusalem Hills and surrounded by forests, terraces, and panoramic mountain views, Yad Hashmona Hotel was designed to create a hospitality experience deeply connected to its natural surroundings. The project included the planning and interior design of the hotel's various room types, as well as its public spaces, creating a cohesive design language throughout the property.
The design was inspired by the pastoral landscape of the Jerusalem Hills and the Scandinavian character associated with the location. Natural materials, wood finishes, light color palettes, and clean architectural lines were combined to create a warm, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere. A key objective was to strengthen the connection between the interior spaces and the surrounding landscape, allowing nature to become an integral part of the guest experience.
A major component of the project was the custom design of furniture and millwork tailored specifically to the needs of the hotel and its guests. Every piece was carefully planned to balance comfort, functionality, and efficient use of space. Storage solutions, seating areas, workspaces, and the balance between open and closed elements were all designed to create a sense of spaciousness and simplicity.
The result is a hotel that combines nature, simplicity, and thoughtful design, offering guests a peaceful and authentic hospitality experience in one of the most beautiful landscapes surrounding Jerusalem.
