Concept Design – Greek Desert Boutique Hotel
This project was developed as a series of design concepts for a boutique hotel that combines the Mediterranean character of the Greek islands with the materials, colors, and landscapes of a desert environment. The objective was to explore different design directions and create a unique hospitality concept that brings together two distinct worlds through their shared values of simplicity, light, natural materials, and connection to place.
The inspiration for the project was drawn from traditional Greek architecture, characterized by bright surfaces, clean geometric forms, arched openings, and light-filled spaces, combined with the textures and tones of the desert landscape. The result is a hospitality concept that balances relaxation, authenticity, and a strong sense of place.
Throughout the design process, various combinations of materials, colors, and architectural elements were explored. Mineral plasters, natural stone, warm wood finishes, soft textiles, and light color palettes were carefully selected to create interiors that feel timeless, elegant, and connected to both the Mediterranean and desert environments.
The concept places a strong emphasis on the guest experience and the creation of a true escape from everyday life. Outdoor spaces, courtyards, terraces, and public areas were designed as an integral part of the hospitality experience, fostering a continuous connection between guests and the surrounding landscape, light, and climate.
This collection of design concepts demonstrates the studio's creative development process and its ability to create distinctive hospitality identities, from the earliest conceptual stages through the development of a complete and cohesive design language.
