The client's primary request was to create a warm and relaxing holiday apartment in which wood would become the dominant material throughout the space. Unlike most vacation apartments, where wood is typically limited to furniture and cabinetry, this project incorporates wood cladding on key interior walls as well. This design decision creates an enveloping and intimate atmosphere, giving the apartment a distinctive character that combines the comfort of a modern retreat with the quality of a luxury residence.

The selection of finishes was also inspired by the natural desert landscape surrounding Eilat. The flooring was chosen for its organic appearance, reminiscent of the textures and colors of the Edom Mountains. Together, the wood surfaces, natural stone-like finishes, and warm tones create a calm and welcoming environment that immediately evokes a sense of relaxation and escape.
