Private Residence Design – A New Home for a New Chapter
This project involved the redesign and interior planning of a 250-square-meter private residence, tailored to a new stage in the homeowners' lives. After their children had moved out, the couple wanted to remain in the home and community they had enjoyed for many years while adapting the house to their current lifestyle and needs.
The design focused on creating a comfortable, spacious, and enjoyable home for two, while maintaining flexible spaces for hosting family and friends. One of the key planning decisions was relocating the primary suite to the ground floor, directly facing the swimming pool and outdoor areas. A dedicated home office was also positioned nearby, creating a practical and quiet workspace within the residence.
The living room and master suite were carefully designed to maximize views of the pool and garden, creating a strong connection between the indoor and outdoor living spaces. Natural light, open views, and the relationship with the surrounding landscape contribute to an atmosphere that feels like a permanent vacation.
The design language combines comfort, functionality, and a relaxed residential atmosphere, fully tailored to the homeowners' lifestyle and their desire to continue enjoying the home and environment they love.
This project demonstrates how thoughtful residential design can adapt an existing home to changing life circumstances, allowing homeowners to embrace a new chapter without leaving behind the place they call home.
